Made some sweet potato casserole.

Here's the topping. Brown sugar, flour, butter, pecans**

A little Cabernet.

Topping all mixed together. Was like candy.

Sweet potatoes out of the oven. 380 for hour and fifteen.

Smoothed out.

The skin tastes wonderful in itself.

Not the most presentable but damn was it good as all hell everyone else concurred.

Also had a strip seared in the cast iron. Figured the board has see enough of those post. Was very good though.

Patty melt is delicious! The onions and thousand sauce make it!

Cheap crappy meat is the best. So yummy that I ate a patty alone without bread.

Tomatoes and mozzarella and basil. There is olive oil, but it doesn't show. I don't think I make Caprese salad right

My inlaws cooked gumbo. Mine's better but it was a free meal I didn't have to cook!

Leftovers.

Wife makes the best brisket in the world.

I could eat it every day. Homemade mashed potatoes and corn on the side. Love it.
