also was a night game... and the only ones in the Miles era I can think of is either Florida or Auburn '11 just from a sheer beat down perspective...

2003 UGA. I was always a Tiger fan but on that day something changed. Ever since then every win means more and every loss hurts like hell.

1. Georgia 2003 17-10
2. Auburn 1969 21-20 -
(my first ever Tiger game w/Dad)
3. Ole Miss 1964 11-10 I think
4. Alabama 2000 30-28
5. Ohio State 1987 13-13
6. Alabama 2010 24-21
7. Three in 2011: Arkansas, Florida, Auburn
8. Ole Miss 1978 30-8
9. Ole Miss 1980 38-16
10. Washington 1983 40-14
11. Arkansas 1995 28-0
12 Arkansas 1999 35-10
13 Arkansas 2001 41-38
14 Arkansas 2003 55-24
15 Oregon St 2004 22-21
16 Tennessee 2010 16-14
17 Ole Miss 2010 43-36
Technically you could say the 2007 Arkansas and 2008 Alabama games STARTED in the day. Both OT losses.
Also South Carolina 2012 23-21
and Ole Miss 2012 41-35
2. Auburn 1969 21-20 -

First ever ESPN night broadcast (although I believe it was a 6:30 kickoff.) Jim Simpson and I think Paul Hornung were the broadcasters.

USC 79....I remember it like yesterday....so amazing..
Ga. 03 ranks high, too
But I loved Florida because I had my youngest son right by me and we were CRAZY that night. It was a special night for mom and son to share. I will never forget it, and I don't think he will either!

LSU 28 Notre Dame 8
LSU passing for a TD as time was running out and Ara Parseghian crying that he would never bring another Notre Dame team to Tiger Stadium make this game one of the all-time greats.

Shreve,
Do you remember if the '64 Ole Miss game was the one where Doug Moreau caught a 2 pt conversion pass near the end of the game to pull it out 11-10?
Because I remember seeing highlights of that play on an LSU VHS highlight collection and it looked like the sun was out?
You are correct about Washington '83. I should have known - I was a sophomore at LSU
Guess I remember standing in line all day and that the game started when the sun was still out.

Georgia '03.
Just before the rematch in the SECCG, Mark May predicted a Ga win, & called the LSU win in TS a "fluke". The Atlanta arse-whoopin of Ga made him a believer.
Also, with Ga leading & things looking dim, at 5:00 pm, the announcer directed the fans' attention to the Pershing Rifles retiring the colors for the evening, and announced: "IT IS NOW SATURDAY NIGHT IN DEATH VALLEY!"

You mean when UGA tied it up at 10-10 right?
