Mexican squealers in teal season

Just had a buddy insist we could shoot em this year in teal season. I havent seen this written anywhere. Anybody here hear any different. WLF website still says teal only.

I hunt way too close to roads in the rice field. Very easy for green jeans to watch. Im glad u guys confirmed it for me. Ill let em fly.

I know Mr. Broussard was pushing hard for them. It would make sense. We gets tons every year for teal season. But I haven't heard anything official about this season

They are trying to get this to be a thing but I don't think it will be for this season


LDWF is still in talks about it. Maybe in 2014

Mexican squealers? That's worse than sacaulait. Can we not say Black-bellied Whistling Duck? Dendrocygna autumnalis would be easier. How about Whistling duck? Whistler?
