No, but I'm man enough to break a picnic table in two, so imagine the reaming this lumberjack could give your little quivering rabbit nostril.

99.9% sure I could put a beat down on you. Maybe we can meet up at Reggies for a brawl.

So he's smarter than all of us, understands concepts we'll never be able to grasp, makes more money than us, and can beat us all up. Definitely the epitome of manliness right here.

Thanks 42. That makes me feel better that the end of the bench is more in play than I thought.

Nope. I screwed that up.

Rivers, Smith, or a nonsimultaneous deal . . . drop them a pick or two or the bavcic.

Could be other options if the deal is slightly smaller or if the deal grows somehow to include other teams, pieces.

Thomas and Jackson do not seemed signed. Or Stiemsma. Can use Morrow now if he was signed into room (possible, but not likely) or in September if not (aggregation rules).
If that's the case (and Steimsma will eventually be signed using an exemption), we may have room to sign him outright (if I am thinking correctly). If you take Steimsma's $2.7 million out of the cap (and complete the signing later using an exemption). Morrow is league minimum (and signing has not yet been announced), Whithey and Jackson are unsigned currently, renounce option on Roberts (as we have not exercised our option) and release Miller, it would create approximately $2.7-$2.8 million in cap room.

If my thinking is right, then we would only lose Miller and Roberts in order to create enough room to sign Oden to a deal close to $3 million. That seems like a nice tradeoff to me.

September was wrong on my part . . . December. No dice.

ETA: I quoted trade rules, not FA rules.

I did not have a trade in that scenario.

So that puts us back to pretty much Smith or Rivers as trade bait if this is actually going to happen. If that's the case it must suggest they are serious if the reports of the $3 million offer are true.
