reorganized the game library today, and I own 24 EA games. Therefore, im officially apologizing for buying all their shitty games year after year and allowing them to "allegedly" charge absurd amounts of money next gen.
here's a pic of said library.
i need a new hobby

Meh I have never considered EA evil. They have provided me some of my favorite franchises and ridiculous amounts of entertainment over the years.
The price thing hasn't been confirmed literally anywhere yet. If it goes up to $80, sorry you shouldn't have complained about being able to trade games in. (Not directed at anyone particular in this thread)
In a country that doesn't bat an eye when it comes to printing money, we have been very spoiled with games at $60.

Oh, I don't either. Just being facetious. I don't think they are evil. I think they are a big game company trying to make as much money for their shareholders as possible, like every other publicly traded company on the planet.
What's funny is that EA used to be the cutting edge, artsy, development house. Their older games, back in the days of Commodore 64 and Atari, even came in a nice sleeve / booklet that was supposed to mimic the look of a music album. They wanted their games to be seen as art, not just a mindless diversion, and the programmers behind them to be viewed as artists.
They've changed a lot.

I dk. Whoever did this is a damn good artist in my mind
But on a serious note, I agree. They still have produced some games like that though. I feel like the story arc through the 3 Mass Effects felt like something much more than mindless diversion.
I just kind of give them the benefit of the doubt when it comes to sports games, because I feel like the 1 year window they have to develop a new game is a very small window to work with. Especially like in a football game when you have 21 AI characters operating at the same time as you.

Oh yeah, I wasn't meaning to question their artists' talent. I really meant they used to be more of an art-house studio with a reputation for treating their programmers like rock stars in a time when mentioning who actually made a game was rarely done.
More recently, they've had a reputation for treating their employee's poorly, but I hear stories that's changing/improving.
And I definitely agree with you on many of their decisions toward the middle to end of this current generation.
Mass Effect is a great series and they took a big chance on Mirror's Edge. It didn't quite work (imo) but I respect a company trying something new. I haven't gotten a chance to dive into them yet, but I'm really intrigued by Dead Space as well.
