That would make it even worse IMO. To know Hill could have left it alone and decided to go back and take a cheap shot at a guy who obviously dealing with 2 others.

Going by the ridiculous comments made by many in this thread, they think a bar fight has a ref who takes points away for low blows.

Hitting someone from the side is no fricking big deal and expecting guys to square up is hilarious.

If no stools, rocks, knives, or bottles are used against you, you are fricking lucky.

Ok so if I go to Tigerland this fall and I see 2 guys and this 1 other guy fighting a pretty far distance from me, it's fair game for me to run ACROSS the parking lot and deck the staggering dude who just got up on the side of the face?
Everyone has done this. Don't know why he even got arrested. Then convicted.

It's like being 18 and getting offered a blowjob from a 14 year old school slut. Of course you accept, get arrested and then convicted. No teenager has ever declined a bj due to the circumstances. That would require judgment.

If that was Hill that sucker punched the guy, too bad that guy that got hit didn't have a wing man with a bat or a gun. Hitting people in the back of the head like that can kill somebody and anybody would be justified in taking that sorry mother fricker out.

I'm in awe of the delusion in this thread. I don't want Hill off the team. I think 2 games is fair enough, but Jesus H Christ of Nazareth. The "no big deal"s and the "This happens in the "UFC"s are comical.

I edited for /sarcasm.

I was pretty sure the bj sentence gave it away though. He has now pleaded guilty to 2 crimes in 2 years, both involving other victims.

And here we go. Yep weed only hurts the person smoking it.... Right. Hey real men don't smoke weed. I'm sure you'd be happy to tell JHill face to face you're a real man and he's not. And of course you've never done anything that wasn't manly I'm sure.

It is what it is. And it's a common occurrence, like smoking weed, so lets not act like he's sub human.

Weed is becoming legal in many jurisdictions now. Walking up to punch people from 30 yards away is likely never to be legal.

I'm not sure what this means.

Hyperbole much? No one said he's sub-human. But he lives in our civilized society. The only reason you give a shite about him is that he's arguably the best RB on the LSU football team.

The only reason I care about this at all is because he only got charged b/c he's an LSU player. I'm fine with the tigers playing without him if need be. However, tossing him off for punching someone at a bar is insane.

This isn't my quote, but I don't see how calling someone a "thug" is "sub-human". Maybe that's just me.

Regardless, he's a 2 time pleaded criminal in which both cases affected someone else. If you think him getting blown by a 14 year old was A-okay and walking up to punch a dude from 30 yards away is normal activity, then you just live in a different morality than I do.

All he had to do was one or the other or neither. Instead he did both, the 2nd while on probation from the 1st. I personally think the guy needs a wakeup call, others prefer to write it off as normal behavior.

I am in awe as well. We do not know what happened 2 seconds before, 2 min before, or 2 hrs before.

What we do know now is that the media hype of JH33 hitting the victim in the back of the head is bullshite. You can clearly see JH33 rushed in front of him and whopped him in the side of the head and did not even knock him down. Now do you suppose he just was having fun or do you think that there was some cause that he wanted a piece of this guy? It was reported the day after the arrest that the guy had been harassing JH33 all night. According to the video we see one punch to the SIDE of the head that did not knock the victim down.

As a result:
2 additional yrs probation
50 hrs comm service
$350 medical restitution
Curfew
banned from any bars
plus complications of prior misdemeanor conviction that could result in revocation of probation and result in significant jail time...
for ONE PUNCH.

How many people do you know that have been handed sentence that severe.

No no no... I've seen worse.

JHill is lucky as shite to get off with those terms being on probation. In fact, the only reason he probably got those terms is because of who he is.

But that still has nothing to do with his discipline from LSU.

This isn't fact but this is what I believe happened.

1. Orange shorts and the guy seen in the beginning are in some altercation before the video starts
2. Orange shorts leaves fight, whether he wins or loses, idk. His shirt is torn. He creates some pretty big separation between him and the guy.
3. He meets up with Hill or possibly Hill finds him. Maybe asks him for help? This is cue for the camera guy to get his phone out because a football player is fixing to get into this and who doesn't wanna see one of the football players in a fight, right?
4. Guy is occupied with the other 2 dudes. Jeremy Hill sucker punching him is literally the last thing on his mind.
5. The scene on camera plays out
