2 strokes don't do much better than fours anymore except rev higher with exploding and weigh less.
I still love them though. The smell in the morning is worth the other bullshite to me

I also love the smell of two stroke smoke when cranking up a boat. Brings back many memories. Four strokes are nice but are really heavy so if you have an older boat that can be a problem.

If you're talking overall performance I agree. It's a more reliable motor too. The think I love about the 2 stroke is that it will launch your arse out of the water. Do I need that? No but it's fun as hell and i like it
Yeti weren't you surprised at how bad the hole shot was with the 250 sho? Extremely similar to your setup is the way I remember you describing it.
