I don't think you understand. When I sit back to play and the controller is in my lap it's at about a 30-40 degree angle so it very well would hit my TV. The guy in the OP only has it at about 20 degrees and it's all over his TV.

I would think I am not the only to sit back and play with a controller angled this way.

If your TV is on the floor or very close to the floor, maybe.

I think most TV's are at least eye level, or mounted on the wall and above eye level.

The guy in the OP is holding it with one hand in the middle of titling it left-right and up-down in the demonstration.

Obviously Sony is not going to allow you to sit back and relax and play games. You must be sitting straight upright and point your controller to the floor.
