It's Ivey's time to finally win that Main Event. Would never want to go heads-up with him

It's Ivey's time to finally win that Main Event.
he was eliminated last night in day 3.

quote:

Ivey raised to 7,500 from under the gun and was called by Olaoluwa Okelola in the hijack, Max Steinberg in the cutoff, and Anthony Gregg in the big blind.

The flop came down and Gregg checked to Ivey who bet 16,000. Okelola raised to 41,000, Steinberg called, and Gregg folded. Ivey took a few moments before reraising all in for roughly 416,000. Okelola folded, but Steinberg called immediately and tabled . Ivey was left with one out in the deck as he showed .

Neither the turn nor river saved Ivey, ending his Main Event.
if Ivey wins that hand, he's in top 5 chip position.

I'm rooting for Justin truesdale.......my only claim to fame is him busting me with 2 tables left in the harrahs circuit main event last year. He went on to take it down. For those interested, I was short and we got it all in pre flop QQ vs A10. A in the window.

What a douche...

quote:

In one of the biggest hands of the tournament so far, we saw Luke Schwartz take a monster beat for a pot that would've made him the chip leader. The aftermath of the hand earned Schwartz a one round penalty.

Josh Pollock opened from middle position. Action folded around to Schwartz, who reraised in the small blind . Action folded back to Pollock and he put in a fourth bet which was 37,000 more. Schwartz then put in a fifth bet for 60,000 more and action was back to Pollock. He went deep into the tank for almost 2 minutes before finally announcing that he was all in for a total of 349,000 more. Schwartz snap called.

Schwartz:
Pollock:

It was a classic cooler situation and since he was on the favorable end, Schwartz pulled out $200 from his pocket and laid it in the dealer's tray. "This is for you," he said.

"I can't accept this right now," the dealer said.

Perhaps Schwartz was hoping for some good fortune so he would be able to fade a king with his tip to the dealer. Unfortunately for him the flop came down . Schwartz stood up from the table and let out a huge, exasperated sigh. He began pacing around the tan section of the Amazon room, knocking over chairs, kicking tables and even tearing down a curtain in his path.

The board completed with a and a and Schwartz came back to the table just to make sure he hadn't hit the ace.

"Wow," he said. "What a f***ing joke."

After the hand and the chips were cut out, a floor moved over to Schwartz's table and issued him a one round penalty for his behavior.

The huge pot set Pollock up to 835,000 in chips while Schwartz was knocked down to under 400,000.

TL;DR: Dude got aces cracked by K K and pissed off turning over chairs etc... All this after trying to tip the dealer $200.00 before the flop.

I know Luke....dudes a class act. Cant ever say anything when 1 mil is on the line with 500 left. With ITM in main, no way you should punish anyone for this.

does the WSOP website have a real time leaderboard? One of my high school baseball coaches is still in it I think, although he had a really low stack and is probably eliminated. David Bennifield

Wonder if she will play the final table blind? She's looking a lot better than she did before. That personal trainer is whipping her into shape.
