Just finished Bioshock Infinite. Meh, not impressed. (Mild spoilers)

After all the circle jerking and game of the year mentions, I was expecting a masterpiece. shite, some reviewers said it was the best game ever made. They were sitting in stunned silence when the game ended.
Well I was also stunned, but I was saying "Is that it?" and then the credits rolled and I was pissed.
There's like 5 guns in the whole game, and there's no good reason not to use the RPG for every single fight. If someone is just giving you ammo there's no reason to use anything else.
I found the gun fights rather tedious, and several times there would be one random guy left and he would be talking shite, but it took me forever just to find him. This got rather annoying.
The rail fighting is a dumb gimmick, I got so tired of riding a roller coaster just to shoot someone on a different level. And you can't move on until you kill every last guy. In 2013, that is lame as hell.
Elizabeth is annoying. "I can tear open space-time, let's get some guns for the Vox." Are you fricking kidding me?
The story was ok, but I'd rather just watch a movie instead of watching a movie and then shooting a few guys with shitty guns and then watching more of the movie.

I thought it was overrated as well. I actually liked the gameplay ok it was just hyped up to have such an amazing story line, I just didn't really see it.

It was a great game, but it suffers from the limitations of an FPS. It was quite enthralling just walking around Columbia but then.....you stick a spinning blade in a guys face and it becomes like any other FPS I've ever played.

It was fun, refreshing change of pace for me from the generic military shooters like battlefield. I don't know if it's game of the year material, but I say that about every game. I can't tell you the best game I've played. I have no idea. If I finish it, that at least means I didn't lose interest, and I easily lose interest.
It does at least deserve credit for not being broken on day 1 as a PC game. In fact, I did not encounter a single bug. Scaled crossfire beautifully with max settings.

This is pretty much what modern games have become
