FYI if there are redfish where you hunt don't try the decoy thing with a line and hook off it. It's the definition of a nine line bind watching that SOB wrap up half the spread and head out to sea with them. Then of course all the grays light with your decoys headed across east bay....

Have to agree with apeman. Those noodles are perfect for this type of fishing. Weight stores on hole and you bury hook in foam when done. You're asking for a cluster with the weights and hooks dangling off your flocked mallard decoys.

I've thought about doing it in a private lake we hunt to add motion to my spread. Would probably get tangled like a mofo though.

I'm sure it would work, but aren't decoys a little TOO buoyant to be ideal?
