I've been on the arse end of a couple of beatdowns.
This is one of the most frustrating things in the world, and to add insult to injury, you have to work your arse off chasing the ball. 15-0 isn't that much more embarrassing than 8-0, and at 8-0, if a team just keeps the ball away from you, you know that it could have been 15-0 anyway.
ETA: I've also been on the arse kicking end. FWIW, I was kicked more frequently when a coach forced us to frick around than when we were just allowed to play.

yeah after this one i'd edit the highlights for the Tahiti players into every semi-positive thing they did on the pitch in this tournament and distribute it to them
