i had my doubts it was going to roll out with the Xbox One in November anyway.
the consumer still has to wrap their simple little minds around games being digital and how cutting out the middle man is the only way for prices to drop in the long run.
there are already digital download demos that time out after a few hours of gameplay. that ability is already there.
Play it for a while. Don't like it. Don't buy the full copy.

Microsoft is trying to win back some of the short sighted consumers. They still have the DRM thing ( I don't know what to call it) in the back of their mind, but people aren't ready for it to be implemented 100%. It needs to be done in segments. The masses are stupid, KK.

we really don't know that, they could just leave the price as is cut out the middle man and make more money

People are dumb but MS is partly to blame for this mess. There was so much misinformation out there and they did a terrible job of getting out in front of it. The casual idiot isn't going to take the time to sift through what's true or not.
