Why the hell does every question of legacy result in a Jordan comparison.

Bad trollers resort to the Jordan comparison for some reason.

LeBrick

or...

LeTurnovers

As he had multiple of both in the final minutes.

That was the least clutch final minute I've seen from a Superstar in a must win game until he got his do-over 3-point attempt b/c the Spurs can't rebound.

If the Spurs rebound his brick...they win and LeBron is the heel and can't get it done guy.

LeBron did make the 3-pointer with about 20 seconds to cut it to a two-point game, but without Allen's 3-pointer, LBJ watches the Spurs celebrate another title after misses a game-tying 3.

If the Heat go on to win Game 7, which they probably will, how much did Allen help erase another possible late-game disappoint from LeBron?

...and cue the :LeChoke: responses

It's why it's called a team sport!!!!!

Or Jordan's if Paxson and Kerr dont hit game winners in two seperate playoff series? Or Kobe if Horry doesnt hit game winners? Or Tom Brady if Vinatieri doesnt make two game winners? Or Joe Montana if his tight end drops the ball? Or Skip Bertman if Morris and Cresse arent clutch? Or Vince Young if the defense doesnt stop USC on 4th down?
Or Drew Brees if they dont recover the onside kick to start the second half? Or Troy aikman without Emmitt and his offensive line and Irvin? Or Tim Duncan without Parker?

Well said. You sound like my kind of sports fan

LeHairline struggles in the end, no doubt about it. It could have been a heck of a lot worse if he never even made the 3-pointer with 20 seconds left.

Yes, b/c his game is considered the best ever college football performance ever. However, they dont stop USC on 4th down, it isnt even remembered

Funny, Carroll get flack for leaving LenWhale in the game while Bush stood on the sideline. Pop getting flack for leaving Duncan on the bench.

Uh, he did make a 3 in the last 20 seconds of the game, and he held off Parker in the last second to go to overtime

He made mistakes, but I think it's because he is dead tired....he has some bad turn overs late in many games..not a good trend, but none the less, the man played big in the 4th...he did what we all wanted him to do...take over the game

Lets be clear LeBron choked down the stretch.

His stats were amazing and his heart is not in question

Ray Allen saved the day but its still a team game. I think his legacy would have been tarnished by losing 2 NBA Finals.

So...you're blaming his career struggles late in the game due to being tired?

That's fricking pathetic if that's your "defense." Not being shape is not an excuse, nor should it ever be.

Finally.

...He had 3 crucial possessions in the final minute where he was losing the game for the Heat.

...and his big 3-pointer was after a brick...so, congrats on his 1 for 2 clutch moment.

I'm sure if Bird had gotten a do-over he'd have beaten the Lakers in Game 4 in '85.

Jordan benefits from the fact that there wasnt a consensus GOAT before him and there had never been a person/brand like him before. Had there been a Jordan before Jordan people would downgrade everything that he did while over inflating every thing the other guy had done.

"Moving along to game four of the 92' finals, Jordan pulled in 32 points off 26 shots. Out of the 26 shots he took, he made good on 11. The kicker is that he had five turnovers and couldn't score the last 10 minutes and thirty seconds of the game.

Even Jordan couldn't be clutch all of the time.

Now we have arrived at the 93' NBA finals Game three, once again Jordan pulled in 44 points on a whopping 43 shots! Out of the 43 jacked up, he only made good on 19.

The cherry on top is that Michael only hit one of 10 shots in the fourth quarter.

MJ not looking so God-like anymore is he?

The 96' finals were by far in my opinion the worst of Michael's career.

In game two, Michael took 22 shots posting 29 points, making good on only nine of those shots. To start the third quarter, Michael would miss seven straight shots and he will miss six free-throws for the game.

In game four, Michael would have yet another bad game, scoring 23 points on 19 shots making good on only six of those. He only had three rebounds and two assists to add to that.

"Oh I'm just warming up.

In game six, Jordan's close out performance was very uninspiring to say the least, again scoring 22 points on 19 shots making good on just five of those shots this time around.

He would go on to add five turnovers to that. A good point to remember is that, this is his third bad game in the same finals series." LINK Link is to bleacher report so you may not want to click on it
