All the dumbasses who say Bama raids LA every year should read this article. Great post.

Until it happens, it is potential!
Like a boulder resting on a hill side, it ain't kinetic energy, until it gets to rolling!
LSU Tiger FB recruiting has been outstanding for many years and we can thank a Crimson Dwarf, but primarily Les Miles for sustaining and equaling, this year he may EXCEED the best of Dwarf's efforts at LSU. I believe.
But a boulder on a hill side is potential energy. Put some Tiger Stripes on that ROCK and get it rolling Mr. Hat!! We need a STATEMENT RECRUITING CLASS, ESPECIALLY ON OFFENSE, CUZ WE FINALLY GOT AN OFFENSIVE MIND TO RUN OUR OFFENSIVE. We had defense and we gotta give the defensive troops a bit of respite. When we DO....look out Dwarf we are SERIOUSLY COMING AFTER YOU YOU PORCELIN TEETHED SERPENT!!!

Honestly recruitniks have been anticipating this class for over a year now with the only surprises being Clifton Garrett and Saeed Blacknall. The Cam Cameron hire only increased the excitement of things to come.

Les has been here for 8 years, hes already exceeded sabans efforts, if not, then why in the hell did saban only have one season with less than 3 losses? That would mean the sec is weaker now, or miles is a better coach at LSU than saban was at LSU.

Love reading stuff like this.

Agree 100%

I really can't wait until this season. When we hired Krags, I was happy, mostly becuase he wasn't Crowton. Now we have perhaps the best OC and DC in college football. We have the best recruiter and RB coach. And the talent coming in the fall, next year, and way out into 2016 is incredible. Purple and gold glasses be damned, we are about to geaux on a hell of a run and own the rest of this decade, just as we did the 2000s.
Geaux Tigers. Geaux America.
Geaux Tigers. Geaux America.

I believe whole heartedly that the Cam hire is the Chavis hire of 2009. Miles/Alleva tried to do a half arse hire a couple years ago with Kragthorpe(I guess you could say a decent offensive mind, but more of a QB coach). Krags then was diagnosed so the offensive didn't get the fix it needed.
So we started running this hybrid offense of Miles, Stud and Krags that did nothing but limit Mett to fully grasp the QB position also pushing Stud away from more important matters like that of the OL. We now have a true offensive coaching genius with eleven years of offensive and head coaching experience at the pro level. A true QB guru who has developed the likes of Rivers, Flacco, and Brees into Super Bowl caliber players.
A guy who made the RB position versatile with the likes of LT and Rice who are known for their skills as a receiver almost as much as their skills as a runner.
The SEC and the nation has finally ran out of time. The initial test run will be 2013 but the full blown arse whooping will start in 2014.

This. Saban isn't so great without mulligans, do over games, unbalanced conference scheduling, and backslidden poll politics. It's harder to win at LSU due to all this bullshite and without a real playoff system. Period.

They really are dumb. Les has locked up 80-90% of instate kids with committable offers in his tenure. That cannot be matched anywhere by any state school.

With Bama, A&M, and LSU with Cameron & Chavis, the SEC West is going to be wild!
Sadly for LSU, they have the Florida roadblock every year, and Bama gets Tennessee every year.
Having to beat Bama, A&M, and Florida every year is a killer schedule, but this year, you get Georgia too--Amazing!
