I completely agree with this. That's just how they are. It's a culture clash that is exacerbated by a little elitism on their part.
They have a great history, but they need to loosen up a bit. Most ribbing is in good fun.

Does the OU fanbase have any redeeming qualities? They're pretty lousy across the board.

I was at the Cotton Bowl in 2002 and ended sitting up
Next to these young Texas fans. They were telling us stories about how miserable OU fans were. At the time, I just chalked it up to rival hate. They were right.

I mean, if you could imagine the exact opposite atmosphere at a football tailgate scene than LSU with the same amount of people, that's what OU's like. It's not bad, just verrrrrrry different.
