Wasn't there plans for them to make this at some point? It was listed on their website at one time but not anymore. Any word on this?

At the beginning he had both that (under a different name) and Canebrake out. He couldn't keep up production of both and keep accounts filled, so he cut the Amber out of his lineup to just produce Canebrake. He has a tap handle made for it (looks pretty cool, its a Redfish tail), but I haven't heard him talk about it in a while. I think his focus has shifted to keeping up production of Canebrake and now Envie and then his special release bottles, which his next one is tentatively his Black IPA. I was hoping for his Double IPA but I guess he hasnt perfected that yet.

That's what Will and I were trying to tell Andrew, but Andrew thought it could be better.

The BIPA is good as well. He is trying to find another name for it, since it has been called Blackalicious and he doesnt think the band will appreciate him jacking the name.

According to himself, it is the ultimate Amber, better than anything out there. But, it will never see production again.

Also said that the DIPA was on par with Heady, never sampled the Parish DIPA so can't compare.

I think consistency in what they put out is their main (and a good one) concern right now..

I must have had them both a few years ago at a Lafayette Top of the Hops event probably 3+ years ago.

Don't really remember much about them though.

He's got the name and the potential label design done. Not gonna share it here, since I wasn't given permission, but I'll text it to you.

Edit: Well that didn't work. Anyhow, it was the hipster barista meme saying "Stopped making the ultimate amber ale...because it was too good."

I like the old name better, he should reach out to blackalicious and see what they think imo.

They aren't the problem, there is a Sierra Nevada beer with the same name.
