Different strokes I guess. I was hooked on BB from the first episode. I know everyone says it gets better as the show progresses, and the action does pick up a lot, but my favorite seasons are the first one and the first half of season two.

I personally think Justified is a better show than Breaking Bad, but apparently I'm in the minority on that.

Where I am in the show right now, I agree.

I gave it a shot a while back and made it through the first season and a few episodes into the second. . .

I don't think any of the episodes really pulled me in and left me wanting more, but I kept watching and waiting for it to happen. Finally got tired of it and haven't gone back yet. It wasn't a BAD show, but it wasn't a GREAT show either.

The only thing that sucks more than your taste in tv, is your username originality.

I'm exactly where you are and Its my favorite show that is currently on tv. Every episode is intense and the acting is pretty good. I'm definitely hooked.

He's my favorite character in the show thus far.

If Walt Jr. is your favorite character on the show I question your taste and have pity on you.

He is second only to the Queen Bitch Skylar as far as annoying characters on T.V. go

Only later on. And even then, that's only in comparison to the rest so it's not a good comparison.

For 2 Seasons Walt Jr. is the only redeemable character you can actually cheer for.

I'm 8 episodes into season 2. I've watched all of it since Sunday when I started it on Netflix.

Obviously I'm enjoying it, or else I wouldn't have gotten this far this quickly. But I haven't found it to be as good as you folks describe.

I've been there before, people blew it up significantly. Very good show, well produced, well acted, etc., but it isn't the greatest show of all time.

I'll continue watching, and hoping it gets a little better. Like I said, I am enjoying it, just not loving yet.

It gets significantly better after some new characters and story lines, though.

BB is a show that you get addicted to but don't really like, at least for me. The characters are horrible, their lives are all miserable, and it frustrates me that they do such stupid things. But it is a good show.

I had the same issue with The Wire that the OP has with Breaking Bad.

This. I'vemade it to the start of season 3 twice and quit ttwice.

Just watched all 5 seasons of breaking bad in the last month. Enjoyed it significantly more.

Wow, Hyperbole much?

He does an incredible job of making you feel absolutely horrible for him .
