except you didn't beat the teams on your schedule in 2011 or 2012.

both years you split your hardest games, and made the national championship. I fail to see 2 SEC losses that LSU would have had from Bama's 2012 schedule

in 11, yes lsu won the regular season but who won the championship game. and if you are one of those idiots that don't think the two best teams played for it all then i can't help that.

in 12, yes bama lost to a&m but when k-state and oregon lost we moved up. Bama didn't make them lose, they did that on their on.....same as 11, all okie state had to do was beat a 5-6 iowa state team,. Bama had nothing to do with that either.
So i will change my statement, beat the teams you need to.....happy

and this is the point of the thread.

LSU needs to beat more top teams than Bama needs to.

Which number is higher, FOUR or TWO?

it was just hard to read

Bottom line: Playing 4 top teams is harder than playing 2 top teams. It diminishes the odds of winning the title.

I think LSU would have had the same record as Bama in 2012 SEC schedule. I personally enjoy playing more good games, but it does give us a disadvantage

Bama beat the teams on their schedule .....including lsu.... so guess what CHAMPIONSHIP

They did? Oh wait, sorry, you're talking about something that happened almost 2 years ago.

And A&M? Your response, please.

You were screwed out of a national championship until you won the rest of your games, which were the same ones I mentioned earlier. Doormat SEC games but SEC games nonetheless. No wonder you defend it.

You have one game every season to be concerned about, that's it.

We did. Magically, the one time a rematch is awarded it's to Bama. Shocker.

I'm really worried about believing you. You seem to be the one in denial.

my God lsu has got to be the whiniest bunch of fans in college football. if your team is so damn good then just BEAT the teams on your schedule and quit fricking bitching so damn much.....geez

Go kill yourself. Easy to say beat the teams on your schedule when your schedule is rotting shite on an annual basis. Only an incompetent moron makes a statement like this. Lsu is 3-3 in the last 6 legit games vs bama so frick you. Bama continues to benefit from do overs, mulligans, backslidden poll politics, unbalanced schedules and no holding calls. If you can't recognize this as fact then you are just plain dumb. Bama hasnt played a schedule since 99 with 4 or more ranked opponents. lsu has done so 4 times. lsu has played uga and florida 19 times in this span, bama 7. Lsu will play 5 teams in the top 15 this year while bama plays 2. you truly have to be a dumb shite to think this is a fair playing field. Due to these facts and factors, the Mnc is just that, a myth or fake and there will never be a true champ without a deep playoff like fcs has because of all the complete horseshite in college football.

And you'd like to keep it that way, right? Pretty convenient when the SEC office is run by (at least in important areas) Bama grads, is located in Birmingham, and the jerk running everything is also a Bama grad. No, why would anyone think there might be some shady business going on when the same freaking b/s schedules come out year after year?

My ENT said the matter of scheduling favoritism should be taken to court

Then again he's an ENT and not a lawyer, but still.

The part I don't get is that it isn't just LSU being screwed over. It's every other team with the exception of one in the SEC.

I don't understand why there isn't more of an uproar. Maybe there is and we just don't hear about it.

Dunno.

there was a good bit last year from florida and south carolina fans

The 2 teams that played in the SECcg had, by far, the 2 easiest schedules

Lets not forget that a couple of years ago Alabama (Saban) bitched about too many teams having the week off before they played them. Saban said it put them at a competitive disadvantage. The SEC fixed that the next year and said it would never happen again.

So these Alabama fans who are taking shots at us for complaining about the schedule can kiss my arse.

We get beat up and have to get up for the Gaytors and Uga, while Alabama gets 2 scrimmage games. No one gets hurt, they get to practice new looks and plays while their starters take the second half off and their backups get "SEC" experience. It's a joke. Not enough that they have alumni and/or locals riffing all the games, they have to rig the schedule too. Keep hoping eventually the national media catches on and publicity causes the image conscious slimeball Slive to make changes.

Am not a Gump. Also am not a whiner and moaner who comes off as scared to play Florida each year. The fact remains the schedule had zero effect the last 4 years. And if you say different, you are WRONG!! How about easing up on hitting in practice as the season goes along. Do we do that? Do you know? Why was the Florida game not a big deal before Saban was at BAMA and winning titles? This incessant thought that the Gumps are always cheating or the favored one comes off as sour grapes big time. BTW, still waiting for the fact to the presented that the schedule had ANY difference in the final outcome of the season for the last 4 years.

it was. It was a big deal in 2006 when Arkansas went to the SEC Championship over us

you can't state that as a fact. Looking at Bama's schedule, we would have probably went 11-1 just like Bama if we played their schedule

Four is greater than two. If you say otherwise you are wrong. Playing 4 top 10 teams is going to be a lot harder than needing to split 2 hard games

you can't give facts for hypothetical situations. Logic should tell you that our odds would be greatly improved with Bama's schedule in 2012.
