I had one at Portillo's and I wasn't very impressed.

Portillo's. And it's Italian beef, not Chicago beef. Get it wet with peppers.

My only experience...I was happy. I'd still rather a roast beef po-boy from R&O's.

This is what I thought. It is just bread, roast beef, a pepper, and au jus that makes the bread soaking wet. No condiments or cheese or anything else. A Philly cheese steak, poboy, or the typical jewish deli sandwiches are much better.
