My guess is she screwed up in the attic, didn't realize she did. Came down and couldn't turn the thermostat on, pressed to hard and snapped buttons into thermostat

Selling my house and the buyer recently had the home inspection done. After arriving home I realized the AC was broke. Had my AC guy come out, well the inspector broke my damn thermostat (pushed buttons completely in), also blew fuses, and fried the blower motor. Now the inspector is saying it was all broke when she arrived. She's full of shite. Any chance I'll ever see that money back I shelled out to fix everything? Have to file something though some agency since she's an independent inspector.

I recently moved to The Woodlands from Baton Rouge and it's a way better place to live. I enjoy how everything is well taken care of and clean. Great schools, safe, lots to do. I'll never move back to LA.

I'm looking to open a Roth IRA account, any recommendations of who I should go with? Seems like I can do it all online without the help of an investment professional, but since I have no experience with investing it may be best to meet with someone. I currently live in The Woodlands, TX. I haven't started saving anything yet for retirement and would like to start asap. Thanks for the help guys
