It wont help but you wont catch any sitting at home. I talked to a family member earlier, they caught some trout in the surf late this morning.

Fished today. Water everywhere was pretty dirty on the east end. Went as far as 4 bayou. Did well til live well died so we came in Surf was choc milk, dont see it being better especiall whenthe winds are forecasted to build.

Been killing the trout all week. All artificial, caught almost 200 fish so far in 4 days

We'll be camping at the park all weekend and hope to catch a little something in the surf.

Anybody run west to Fourchon? I was thinking of making a wade trip myself. Limited out on reds at causeway this afternoon. Never done that before. 8-9 trout and a flat fish. I guess I'll bring wife to Superior for Rita's and sleep in.

BIL said he did his best fwiw at the rocks at state park. Had quite a few 18" reds, told him to go back and check for red tags. Then said, sorry you don't know who would have caught it you'd be DQ'd anyway.
