As someone else said, he's doing all the right things to keep the fans behind him. Can't hate on him. I like seeing ULL do well.

It's not really a rivalry but I say it's a HELL of alot more interesting when the Cajuns are viable. I'd love to see a viable in state series. Ok Okie St. UCLA USC. Texas Texas A&M. It'd be fun to watch. Even if the games weren't "close"

If ULL is so irrelevant and so inferior, why does it matter if they call themselves UL? It seems to annoy people a lot. Doesn't really bother me. If people say "it's because they call themselves THE UNIVERSITY of Louisiana" and that's the reason, it's a little ridiculous. Nobody in America thinks of UL before LSU.

I'd rather replace a Towson Furman type game with a yearly Cajun Tiger matchup. It's at least money kept in state.

You go to school in Lafayette. Who are you rooting for if the Cajuns and Tigers meet in regional play? Just curious.

Good for them! I like ULL. I hope they win every game in every sport except against LSU in football and baseball, but even then I would be happy for them. LA Tech on the other hand, I hope they always lose to LSU.

Part of Skip Bertman's legacy is the way he always promoted Louisiana baseball. In that role he was and still is a great ambassador for the game.

I've run into Hud before in Lafayette, the guy seems very nice and approachable. The LSU insecurity re:UL is laughable.

most of us aren't delusional enough to think that we can defeat LSU in football.
however, there's no denying that hud is the best coach that ull has ever had and is doing a fantastic job with this program.

I'm really not a huge baseball guy really but I pull for UL and LSU in every game they play and I pull for LSU when they play UL. I always hope for a competitive game though.
