I think that's because they played some weaker teams. LSU played every team in the SEC tourney. We didnt play the likes of Boston College, Wake Forest, and Duke who had combined conference records of 22-66.

Yeah, but we did play Mizzou and Kentucky who were pretty terrible

Its all very close in my spreadsheet. After Vandy, you could take teams 2-6 and pull them out of a hat, and it'd be hard to argue definitively for any of them
