Personally, I would prefer that someone else direct the next Bond film, and then wrap up Daniel Craig's arc (trust me, I LOVE the Craig films).

Let Nolan start with Bond from scratch. But that's just me.

Nothing's final yet. Nolan may be telling them the very same thing.

That would be so awesome. Nolan is a huge Bond fan and would nail it.

He should leave comics and other franchises to the directors that aren't on his level.
Couldn't have said it better.

I'm very thankful for his Dark Knight trilogy, but that should be it for his career IMO. He's too original and too good to not maximize his potential with every film. And, in order to do that, he can't be confined by a franchise.

another Inception,
He already did a terrible mini-bond film with the stupid over the top horrible level with 9000 bad guys all acting ridiculously stupid in the snow level.

This shite pisses me off. I have no doubt that Interstellar will join Inception, The Prestige and Memento as great films that he's directed....but I can't stand when he goes the blockbuster route like Batman and now this James Bond crap.

Nolan has stated the early Bond movies made a huge impact on him, and that he has always had an interest in one day directing a Bond movie. Not surprising.

Be prepared for another one like Skyfall.

Bleak, boring, and color free

Skyfall was a waste of talent. Lets head out to nowhere with no weapons to protect dench and lets leave a trail for bad guy to follow. Not as dumb as the quantum plot but close.

I agree with this writer abuot this. No way Nolan does Bond 24

quote:

In March, we learned that MGM wanted a new Bond movie within 3 years, so the clock is ticking to get someone in the director’s chair.

The assumption that Nolan would direct Bond 24 is preposterous because Nolan is at work on Interstellar. Pre-production is underway, roles have been cast, and a November 7, 2014 release date has been set. Unless Nolan wants to piss off everyone at Paramount and Warner Bros (the studios behind Interstellar), he’s not doing Bond 24. If there have been any informal talks, I believe they would be for James Bond 25. That would be the smart, pro-active move, but right now the focus should be (and will be) on who’s doing the 24th film.

I would want a new Bond as well. Nolan and Fassbender would be an unstoppable force at the box office.

Nope. Craig is good. We just need better writing.

Craig has plenty of Bond left in him. No need to reset yet.

Let Nolan do one and be done but I'm not interested in a twofer or trilogy from him.

I dont know what I think of this. I really like Nolan, but if he keeps taking on these "established" franchises.. we are never going to get another Inception, The Prestige, or Momento

This is exactly how I feel. I'd rather Nolan work on something original than a Bond movie, like this Interstellar movie he's working on now

It would be awesome but I want Nolan back doing his own original projects. If he does one bond that'd be cool but I'd be incredibly disappointed if he spent the majority of his next 10 years working on James Bond movies

Fassbender is German and Irish. Is it even legal to have a German or an Irishman playing Bond?
