What let them have special treatment? At least now you see others doing it (Hornets, Pacers, Spurs, etc.)

Why does it matter?

I'm pretty sure "doesn't" is grammatically correct here, but if you write it out fully (why does not LSU wear) it sounds shitty. So what is another way of forming this sentence? Thanks
Eta: other than putting LSU between does and not

Well the original sentence you were talking about doesn't make any sense:
"Why doesn't LSU wear white for home football games?"
LSU does in fact wear white jerseys for home games.

They wear a light color the rules do not say you have to wear white just a opposite color.

which leads me to believe it was always allowed...so therefore no special treatment

The edit wasn't there when I started to respond but good for you for being a frickface.

No, Florida is the only developed state.

c. The home team shall wear light color jerseys, and the visitors dark jerseys unless otherwise approved. For neutral court games and doubleheaders, the second team named in the
official schedule shall be regarded as the home team and shall wear the light colored jerseys.
Yellow is considered a "light" color.

unless the home team is white, I've seen teams, particularly college wear yellow as an away color. I believe Michigan did it in the NCAA tournament
