Look at A&M right sleeves. The American flag patches are all backwards. Stars are to the right, not left. WTF?! I guess Aggies are that dumb after all?!

Manufacter in Taiwan was the problem but offered a 90% markup.

Have you ever seen a military uniform?
Posted on 5/11/13 at 12:49 pm to LSUTIGERTAILG8ER
I asked that yesterday, but I wasn't arrogant about my ignorance

That's how all uniforms are

The military does the same thing. I think it is supposed to look like a flag in the wind and since we are always moving forward it goes that way.

I'm more upset about the sec patch

Same happens on airplanes

Haven't really noticed a military uniform for flag before. LSU flag patches are on the left sleeve, but represent the stars correctly towards the left.
That's why I'm asking...?

That is correct, the stars always face the front

I have been wondering the same thing. Very odd.

quote:
The regulation states that when authorized for application to the proper uniform the American flag patch is to be worn, right or left shoulder, so that “the star field faces forward, or to the flag’s own right. When worn in this manner, the flag is facing to the observer’s right, and gives the effect of the flag flying in the breeze as the wearer moves forward. The appropriate replica for the right shoulder sleeve is identified as the ‘reverse side flag’.”

No its because we are at war. Flags are backwards on military uniforms when the USA is in a war.

Guess you learn something everyday. Any military uniforms have the patch on the left sleeve, and if so, is it opposite?

The Aggies baseball uniforms are military uniforms? I don't care if its a military school, the baseball players aren't a part of any military.
