Good points. But I do see some hitters hardly even stride at the first pitch, even in key at bats late in the game. They were taking all the way. Of course, all hitters are different. But I will agree that some hitters are looking location, or pitch type early on. That's part of being patient and not "hacking at the first strike thrown".

i concur, they should never, never invite this guy back for commentary. he calls every game for the Zephyrs... must be unbearable between the call and the baseball
