They probably could if their highlights could be found anywhere besides CST.
And I doubt that few if any sports fans in NOLA who aren't frequent TD posters could name 3 guys on the LSU team. Maybe Bregman and Katz.

LSU has ties to a rival station WWL. This is not abnormal.

I can't agree that NO is an anti-LSU place - actually when the Times Picayune was 7 days a week, it's LSU coverage was as good as The Advocate's.
I don't buy the Benson hates LSU but if true maybe it's because he felt threatened when the Saints played the Dolphins after Katrina in Tiger Stadium.
The last few times I've seen Benson on the news he just looks like a dufus!!!

Considering roughly half of the on air talent that Benson employs are LSU grads, I'd so no.

Yeah Hickman is a national guy so doubt he cares enough to hate LSU. The rest of their sports team went to LSU.

You're very wrong. New Orleans is a huge LSU based town. It was that way over 20 years ago.
