He hit over .500 most of the season, no one with any sense should expect anyone to hit remotely close to this consistently, so of course his average is going to go down. He's cool now, but we've seen what he can do when he's hot. I'd bet everything that he'll warm up before the season's out.

This couldn't be further from the truth. He's not planning on making a career out of baseball. He came back to LSU when his stock was at a high, not to improve his stock, but because playing baseball at LSU had always been a dream of his and because no one threw serious change at him it wasn't worth it to him to miss out on another year of dominating college baseball with a chance to win the CWS.
