I'm thinking about getting everyone to get a screen cap of their character and provide name, server, grand company, free company, and linkshells and post them in the OP.

Ok, they updated us earlier this week with Transfer service - it will be available in early October now.. they said the mid-September date was before all the problems and had been worrying about all the service issues etc. before making a firm decision on transfers.

Just spent 2 hours in the online support chat queue trying to resolve an issue with getting my software token setup. Finally get to #1 in the queue only to see a message saying:
"Status: Canceled
There are currently no agents available to help you at this time, please try again later"
My friends account randomly got banned on Friday or Saturday night and he still has no clue why that's happened, no email or anything. As much fun as I'm having in the game itself, Square Enix's customer support is literally the worst I have ever dealt with in my life.

The reason I ask, I setup my token on my phone, was as easy as 1,2,3..

No I didn't order their little key-fob thing, I'm just trying to use the app that is available via the app store. It keeps telling me that the User ID, Password or Date of Birth is incorrect...wife is having the same problem as me.
My friend just got off the phone with SE and they told him his ban was due to RMT/Spamming etc. Apparently his account was compromised somehow and being used by a gold spammer to try and buy/sell. I'm just trying to protect my account.

I remember I had to go onto the SE website and go to the security token portion of my profile because I had to input some strong line code into the app.. but I never had ANY problems with the User ID, Password, or DoB.. that really sounds like you might need to go onto your account make sure you imputed your DoB correctly.

That means he gave his info to one of the /shout'ers in one of the city states.. they aren't real gil sellers, but they act like em.. and then steal your info when you try to buy anything from them.

I initiated everything through their site...having an email sent to me etc. I tried to verify the information, but no where (that I can find) is there a way to update your personal information or see what was originally entered. Either way, even with their goofy input method of the Date of birth (YYYYMMDD) I've done this stuff about 15 different times and it doesn't work.
