my buddy that I'm convincing to re-roll over on Hyperion lives about 10 minutes away from me...so that makes 7. If the rest of our normal crew was playing this game there would be 12 or 13 of us, but I think the rest of the crew are playing Neverwinter or something.

Okay serious question now.
Is it imperative for me to do the city quests on my new character. Having made the exact same toon on Hyperion that I was playing on the other, I really don't feel like running all over the place (save to get my crystals going) and doing those things again...I'd rather just take my axe outside and start slaughtering shite. Also, does the hunter's log open up via a quest or at a certain level?

Pretty sure you get once you do the first class quest. After that, each one opens up once you complete the page.

Love everyone moves over to Hyperion we are going to have way too many tanks it sounds like...this ought to be interesting, maybe I won't always have to be a tank like I have been in the past.

It was intense cuz I couldn't raise cuz I was in battle and don't realize wtf was going on and it was just two of us fighting.

One boss fight in an earlier dungeon, I'm almost died like three or four times. I blew some CDs to stay alive and was wondering wtf.
Our healer was afk when we started and was outside the ring for boss fights.

Didn't realize this myself until later on. Only WHM can cast raise in battle. Dumb.

I like it. Maybe it's just a desire to have MMO's be more old school to a certain point, but it adds value to a class when not everyone can rez someone simply because they have a heal button or rez button.
Not that I'm trying to put words in your mouth or anything, but I have to admit that it really is a bonus in my opinion to see that.

Well yes, but I'm a Paladin. Conjurer as my sub should grant me to some of those benefits.

But it does...you have the ability to rez if you so choose, right? A paladin is nothing more than a warrior/cleric combo, they shouldn't be able to do everything that a normal cleric can. Pardon my extremely broad use of the classes as I know they don't match up to Final Fantasy terms, but the idea still holds...

Only outside of battle. Granting me that ability doesn't make WHM lose a lot of value. Paladins are already gimped enough as is, marauders are so much easier.

Long day..sometimes you just feel like bitching That said, I *think* they have 2 separate NOC's one for Japan and one for NA/EU b/c I'm pretty sure the Japanese servers are up currently aren't they? Oh well, I got in to the Queue to try and get my one time password setup issue resolved and took the dog for a walk so it wasn't the end of the world by any means!
