I stopped there yesterday for the first time, if you don't know, it is the newest Indian/Pakistani type menu in the area. The lunch buffet $8.95, $9.95 for dinner, was all very freshly prepared, hot and delicious. I'm not going to try to name the dishes, I can't even pronounce them, except for the naan and te lentil soup.

The naan is a step above what you usually get in an Indian restaurant. The bring it hot in a basket, it is inbedded with sesame seed and brushed with ghee. It is easy to eat the whole generous basket. I love lentil soup and have it frequently, this is one of the best versions I've ever had with a hint of cilantro and served hot on the buffet. I despise lukewarm soup.

The service was friendly and I think this place will compete very well with Bay Leaf where the buffet is $3 more, and Himalaya's.

It is located on the south side of Coursey a couple blocks east of Sherwood next the the old Vineyard bar.

Do they have that Indian rice pudding stuff? That's my favorite thing at Bay Leaf.

The food is great, but they've had some service issues in the past. I think they only have 1 cook....he was sick for a couple of days a month or so ago so they just shut the place down. I've called a couple of times during their posted hours and they were closed....called again on a weekend shortly after they opened for the day to order take out and the lady taking my order said she would have to ask the chef if he would be willing to make something for me since they were working on the buffet. I just said nevermind.

Been here several times and love it. I actually prefer the flavor of their food over Bayleaf's.

I did not know that they had expanded the buffet option to dinner time. Anyone been to the dinner buffet?

My only complaint is they don't have butter chicken on the buffet.

We've eaten there several times and always leave impressed and too full.

Owner, watresses are very nice people too which is an added plus.

If you like Bay Leaf and Indian food you'll love it.
