Been a while since we have had one of these threads...

I have misplaced my Spyderco Endura 4

So its time for me to get a replacement

I really liked the Endura, but I'm open to other ideas. What kind of knives do yall carry?

Not sure I know exactly what you mean. I do know that I have cut myself less with this knife than previous Kershaws and the blade is much better. I used to get the same model Kershaw every time but they quit making it and this was my first Benchmade. It will not be my last.

Opinel Lame Acier au Carbone

That thing just stays sharp. The down side is that it's not slender. Check'em out, they're cheap.

An EDC should be small enough to EDC. Most jobs in everyday use are small jobs. My EDC is a small SOG but my carry when I am in the woods is a Buck folding ranger, a ltiile bigger and tougher. The EDC should also be cheap. Loosing a knife happens. These $100 plus EDC knives just do not make much sense.

Never had a hole (hehe) so I cannot give a fair assessment. I can say that I love the nub (hehe) and plan on sticking with it.

I have not lost a knife in over 2 years and it was only then on a fishing trip. It makes sense to me to spend money on quality.

I'm somewhere in the middle, I'd like to spend less than $100 because i'm constantly losing shite, which means the benchmade's are probably out.

I really like that SOG, never owned one though, may have to give it a shot

well there ya go. So lets say every two or so years you loose a knife, even if it is on a fishing trip.
