Just something casual, didn't have any certain types of food in mind.

Where would I get on street car to take it to zoo?

You are looking for the St Charles street car line. Easy walk to St Charles from where your staying.

WC is a little pricey, but the breakfast is good. I had some other things while I was there recently. All good.

There's always Mother's in the next block for breakfast. Not a recommendation, but for informational purposes. My Dad and my nephew always walk over in the early morning to get a biscuit or something from there before there's a line when we're at the WC.

You can walk a few blocks down Gravier to Camp and go to the old Commerce restaurant for a standard breakfast. Fine roast beef poboy if you're around there for lunch.
