As a Cowboys fan, at some point you just gotta join the rest of the NFL & laugh cause it's far past the point of being angry.

I'm telling you the D-lines and O-lines are now a position of strength. they will be signing Clabo very soon for the RT spot. we are solid.

I was continually disappointed in everything the Cowboys did this weekend. This is just one more thing.

Bookmarking for next season.
Ryno, what's your early prediction for next year?

ESPN's Ed Werder reports Tony Romo will have influence in the Cowboys' "personnel and play-calling" this season, and game-plan with coaches on Mondays and Tuesdays. The Cowboys have found a new and exciting way to undermine puppet head coach Jason Garrett. It's a bit surprising Romo — a 33-year-old eight-year veteran — wasn't this involved in the offense already, but better late than never. It shouldn't have a noticeable impact on the way the offense is run in Big D.

This strikes me more of a "might as well try this" move as opposed to really thinking Romo can pull this off. He would have been in that role already if he was capable or actually vocal about it.
My two cents.

Along those lines:

“In our negotiations, (Romo) was inordinately interested in what we were going to be doing in the offensive line,” Jones said. “It meant something to him, to make commitments that he was making, that we commit there. It meant something to him and to me that he commit to what I’m talking about doing, more time that he commits to doing more time. It’s part of his job description.”
Jones said he wasn’t implying that Romo wasn’t involved in game-planning prior to this season, but he wants his quarterback to spend even more time being involved. The way Jones puts it, he wants Romo to spend “Peyton Manning type time on the job.”
“Anybody will tell you that Peyton Manning’s involvement in what they do is a bonus as opposed to what the general commitment is of top quarterbacks in the NFL,” Jones said.

Seriously, I'm getting really pissed at the front office (Jerry).
It is really making it hard to be a fan of your hometown team when they make these decisions.

They don't need any more bottom of the barrel guys anyway.
UDFA's are not ultimately that interesting to me. Sure, there are a handful in the league that are good, but that is fairly rare.
Romo is an example of one that is good.

Aw shite. This will not end well. I wonder if Garrett will get a hoodie.

If there’s a guiding principle or an ideal the Cowboys are hoping to follow this offseason, it certainly seems like the New England Patriots are on the brain.
That’s not writer speculation or educated guessing, either. That’s coming straight from the mouth of the shot-callers. During every day of the NFL draft, following his post-draft press conferences, Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones spoke briefly with the media, and three days in a row he referenced the Patriots specifically.
“They’re a good role model for us,” Jones said Thursday night. “They’ve got a quarterback in Brady, they’ve done a good job of having an offensive football team and they’ve given up a little bit on their defense – they want to score points.”
Aw shite. This will not end well. I wonder if Garrett will get a hoodie.

So within the two articles you've posted, Jerry wants his QB to be like Peyton Manning and is modeling his offense like Romo is Brady.
That Botox is going straight to his brain
