Yeah I'm looking forward to the 2014 conference schedule coming out. The September non-conference games will probably set an attendance record, but there won't be much atmosphere. Would be great if Sept. 20th was a huge early season conference game.
Florida '09 was so frustrating, but it was electric pregame.

Loudest I have been to was 11' Ar-Kansas. How does this game compare to the games mentioned before?

So why is the stadium only full for one game a year? I go to all of the home games, and empty seats are everywhere, including the SEC games. The Bama game was the exception.
I'm not disagreeing with you, but as long as there is a demand to buy tickets, they should continue to expand to meet that demand. There will always be empty seats... but that shouldn't hold back expansion.

1) UGA 2003
2) Bama 2012
3) UF 2007
2) Bama 2012
3) UF 2007

That was a weird one because it really didn't feel like #1 vs. #3. That 12-0 on the videoboard at the end was a great moment though. Plus it was at 1:30, and you don't usually see day games listed for the best atmosphere outside of '03 Georgia.

I was at 03 UGA and 07 Florida and both of those games were insane...but to this day, nothing comes close to 79 vs USC. Nothing...and the crowd was 79,000 plus some change. It was insanely insane...

Am I really the first to have to say '97 Florida?
For me it is:
'07 Fla
'97 Fla
'03 UGA
'12 Bama
Bama would be #1 if we won.

Yeah, it's possible. But Nov 3rd wasn't the best. Florida '07 was downright epic.
Agreed!!

I wasn't there, but...
Sad if true.

Georgia 2003, Florida 2007. Don't go back before 2002 so I can't comment on game before then.

Nov 3 2012 was NOTHING compared to Florida in '07.

I've been to several games in TS where the atmosphere beat the hell out of the 2012 Bama game. The UF game in 2007, the UT and Moo State games in 2000, the 2003 UGA game, and the 1997 UF game, just to name a few.

The Bama game was very weird. Pregame was electric. Then the game started and everyone was on pins and needles the first half. Its like the stadium wasn't truly "all in" because of 1/9 residuals. Then Bama scores going to half, and it is fricking eerie in there over halftime.
When Hill finally broke through though, the rest of the game was absolutely unhinged. Cope's big run going towards the student section at the end of the 3rd and the whole team swarming to the SS during the break was the greatest thing I've ever experienced in TS. It kicked the dick out of the USC announcement in 07 that always gets pimped.
The second half of Bama until the missed FG was the greatest TS may have ever been.

All the newbie kiddies on here weren't even in physical existence back then.
Like Jim Mora once said, "Yall think you know, but yall don't really know."

There have been quite a few Tiger Stadium atmospheres that surpassed Nov 3. What that game did better than any other was have a COMPLETELY packed stadium prior to "calling Baton Rouge". The whole stadium was sitting and ready before the band played pregame.

The next milestone will be complete when the scoreboard gets seismograph readings or a meter displaying decibel levels.
Give the fans something THEY can affect and see measured.

Auburn '95 was pretty awesome.
Florida 97 might be my favorite ever.
Georgia 2003 was also pretty intense. I got goosebumps when UGA scored late and the whole crowd started cheering "L-S-U, L-S-U" and did what they could to get the team back up.
There have been some really solid games in Tiger Stadium. I'd probably have to give the slight edge to Florida 1997. Though, there are a few moments from other games I enjoyed more. For example, Troy Twillie intercepting Patrick Nix was epic.
