What's the point of switching pitchers?

We did the same crap yesterday and gave up a run. When a pitchers in a rhythm why make a change?

And we caught a break with rummelow. 6 straight balls and the lead off over slid.

Because relievers cant throw 80 pitches, arms wear out.
