For those that say LSU is losing too many starters...

With the departing Seniors and early enrollees to the draft (especially on defense), one would think it will be tough to replace these guys and still be dominant. LSU is not the only top SEC team that will have to do this. Here are the other SEC teams will players lost to the draft (not counting supplementary draft):
LSU- 9
Bama- 9
UF- 8
UGA- 8
USCe- 7
I know LSU can reload with the young talent already on the team, but these other teams will have to go through the same process. It's not like we are losing 5 more players than the other top schools.
With the new OC and hopefully a fresh start on play calling and teaching/training, I don't see a rebuilding year like some are saying. Depth could become an issue, but if we can avoid the injury bug, this team could be special. Tough schedule aside, this team will be in the hunt for the NC.

LSU started more freshmen than any other team in the country last year. We'll be fine.

And it seems like a good number of those players either:
Have drug issues
Dont play hard all the time
Were getting passed up on the depth chart
Would rather get arrested.

As of a couple days ago, I really don't like the rb situation

While I agree with the message, we'll be fine, the number of players drafted doesn't really gauge the impact of players graduating and leaving early.

LSU has the least experience returning on defense in at least 13 years
Les Miles offense (until proven otherwise)

I agree; I think we will be fine on defense. The difference between us and these other teams is the perceived quality of players that left compared to those on the team for the upcoming season. Bama, UF, UGA, & USCe still have a lot of their big names returning, while LSU does not (at least on defense).

the problem with LSU is all the losses come on defense. That is the main reason we have won games in the last 5 years

It's not about losing starters... It's about underclassmen. LSU set an NFL record with declared underclassmen. LSU can reload but they will have to reload with even younger players than preferred. LSU can always put talent on the field, but If you ask any coach, your chances of success are USUALLY better if you can put veteran/older players on the field. It's a concern for LSU to be playing with a large amount of underclassmen, but its not like 2013 is already over by any means.
