We pretty much knew back in January that Man United would win the league title, so let's shift our attention to the other two Champions League qualifying (and one qualifying round) spots.
Bold and italic = win, Italic = draw, underline = loss.
2. Manchester City (68), 5 games left.
Ceiling: 83 points. Floor: 68 points.
Remaining games: West Ham, @Swansea, West Brom, @Reading, Norwich.
My prediction: Not the toughest bunch of remaining opponents, and I really don't see them leaving enough points on the table to get knocked down. I see at least 13 points here, with a draw against Swansea, bringing them to 81 and a lock for 2nd place.
3. Arsenal (63), 4 games left.
Ceiling: 75 points. Floor: 63 points.
Remaining games: Man Utd, @QPR, Wigan, @Newcastle.
My prediction: Wins against QPR and Wigan, and a choke draw at Newcastle. Finish at 70 points, which will be fifth place.
4. Chelsea (62), 5 games left.
Ceiling: 77 points. Floor: 62 points.
Remaining games: Swansea, @Man Utd, Spurs, @Aston Villa, Everton.
My prediction: The hardest remaining schedule of the bunch. I think Chelsea will beat Swansea, Villa, and Everton, while taking a point from Old Trafford. The match against Spurs is key. They'll gain 10-13 points to 72-75.
5. Tottenham Hotspur (61), 5 games left.
Ceiling: 76 points. Floor: 61 points.
Remaining games: @Wigan, Southampton, @Chelsea, @Stoke City, Sunderland.
My prediction: Wins against Wigan, Southampton, and Sunderland, draw at Stoke. Again, the Chelsea match is key and anyone's call. 71-74 points.
6. Everton (56), 4 games left.
Ceiling: 68 points. Floor: 56 points.
Remaining games: Fulham, @Liverpool, West Ham, @Chelsea.
My prediction: 6 points at most, I doubt they'll win at Anfield or Stamford Bridge. Finish at 62 points, sixth place.
Chelsea vs. Spurs May 8th will be key. Calling it a draw for now, here's how I see the table finishing. (will accordingly update as matches occur)
Current Table:
2. Manchester City (3 games left) 72 points
3. Chelsea (3 games left) 68 points
4. Arsenal (2 games left) 67 points
5. Tottenham Hotspur (3 games left) 65 points
6. Everton (2 games left) 60 points
Predicted Table:
2. Manchester City 81 points
3. Chelsea 75 points
4. Arsenal 71 points
5. Tottenham Hotspur 70 points
6. Everton 62 points
Make your predictions, and I'll update it as it goes if people actually give a shite. And yes I have too much free time.
EDIT: 11AM 4/27: City beats West Ham, Spurs draw Wigan, Everton beats Fulham.
EDIT noon 4/28: Arsenal draws to ManU, Chelsea beats Swansea.
EDIT 5/5: Chelsea beats ManU, Everton draws Liverpool, Man City draws Swansea, Spurs beat Southampton, Arsenal beats QPR.

2. Man City (W, D, W, W, W) = 81
3. Spurs (W, W, D, W, W) = 74
4. Arsenal (D, W, W, D) = 71
-------------------------------
5. Chelsea (W, L, D, W, D) = 70
6. Everton (W, D, W, D) = 62
Sir Alex decides to go for some revenge for the FA Cup exit to Chelsea, gets the three points at home that eventually keep the Blues out of the Champions League.

Chelsea plays one game every 3 days from here on out. I think they finish out the top 4 again.

those 2 points we left out on sunday by conceding a laste arse goal are going to do us in. This is the same feeling I had when we blew a 2-0 lead against Juventus to start the CL, I was like this is going to come back and bite us in the arse...and it did.
Going to suck not being in the CL

as usual a couple of typical 'everton ' results will probably come back to haunt the toffees. would love to see them at least get that europa spot but i can't see it happening. probably finish ahead of liverpool again though.
