Agreed. I just find the nervousness of the board whenever a prospect might end up elsewhere a little overboard.

If he moves on, no one thinks LSU can just move on to the next prospect?

There's ONE case where they didn't play by the rules and have a fall-back, and it's looking more and more like he'll end up at LSU.

But as far as anyone else, just move on. There's absolutely no doubt in my mind that LSU can recruit and land another OT that can be just as capable as Robinson.

So what if you don't get the Ferrari. Just go buy the Porsche that was second in line.

you mean like getting Corey Thompson?

my only concern is him maybe going to Alabama because a) I hate them and b) we have to play them every year and on the off chance we beat them, we may have play them again.

If they want to go out of state, go someplace harmless like Texas or the Big 10.

I think you're on the right track with your analogy but need to tweak it a bit...

Losing a top level instate player and getting an OOS of equal talent isn't like going from one make to a lesser make....it's essentially getting the same car but not in your favorite color.
