Outdoor board relevant bc me and the other half want plenty of outdoor recreational activities and of course want to stay at a resort that has crystal clear waters, white sands, and nice views......Also just don't want all the pics or gtfo and everything the OT would bring......TIA

Are you looking for a really nice resort to stay at the entire trip or somewhere where you can get out at night and eat local, perhaps some place with night life? Looking to fish, scuba, etc? Got a budget?

honestly a mix of everything, wouldn't mind scuba-ing (we're gonna get certified b4 we go, just in the first level like the 60 feet deep one), wouldn't mind a lil rain forest, we both love outdoors so we won't be sleeping in everyday, and yes a little bit of nightlife wouldn't be bad but nightlife IS NOT a priority........and i hope lol hope i can keep it around $5000, i know i know thats low, but its just a starting figure
.......in regards to resort, we would like one that is nice and secluded but I don't need 5 star, personal butler all that 5 star restaurant stuff.....

If you just plan on staying in a resort (the resort section of the island) and hanging out at the beach/resort pools and shopping...Turks and Caicos is hard to top.
But if you want to get out of the resort area and do some hiking and outdoor stuff...then I would probably recommend St Lucia.
If you want to go to an overall more modernized island...then my recommend Bermuda (pink beaches and rock structures are cool there). But the Brits can act real shitty to the locals there...watching the way they treated the locals was enough to piss me off. For whatever reason, they look at Bermuda as their place to escape and treat the island and the people like they own it.
Although there are some ok places on these islands, I am not a big fan of St Croix, St Thomas, The Bahamas (too crowded)....
Just my 2 cents worth.
ETA...I have been to a lot of the islands and honestly...I have never been to one that was BAD. Some had bad sections, or bad features, or bad entertainment options....but if you are flexible and open minded...EVERY SINGLE ISLAND I have ever visited is awesome!

I didnt scuba when I went...dont ask me why I didnt but from what I remember a lot of people raved about it. Dont quote me on it but I think that the east side of the island was the hot spot for diving. Like I said, dont quote me on it but to me I remember one side of the island being famed for diving (worth looking into if nothing else to make sure that if diving is something you plan on doing a couple of days...that you stay close to the best).

If you say away from the all-inclusives this is very doable...
Places in Central America are also a great return on the money, Belize, Costa Rica, etc. My wife and I went to this little place in Mexico on the Belize boarder and it was the best vacation of our life. We have discussed going back but the place is about a 5 hour drive south of Cancun and that is a long way in todays Mexico. We spent 5 nights LINK and 5 nights in Playa for under $3k with airfare 12 years ago. With some looking you can find lots of places like this in Central America...

Hiking through the hills and seeing the water falls and stuff will probably be the most amazing, laid back, beautiful, relaxing, enjoyable part of the trip.

For Scuba, you'd want either Belize or Cozumel. Honestly, Cozumel is much better than most people realize. The East side of the island is secluded, but has some extremely nice bars and such right on the beach. No electricity on that side, but that just adds to the atmosphere. Also, it's pretty cheap to stay there. Cozumel has one of the best reefs in the Caribbean. The next closest would definitely be Belize. There's much more to do hiking/exploring wise in Belize.

we aint worried about drinking too much as we don't booze it up that much as is now, and as far as food, we'll cook in the room probably 50% of the time and eat out the rest so all inclusive doesn't have too much appeal...however i do want a nice secluded place that has a great view of the beach

Roatan Hounduras.
Currency conversion is nearly 16 to 1.
Super friendly place, has all inclusive resorts and is incredibly beautiful.
Much cheaper than Turks or St. Lucia.

belize- more quiet, beautiful diving/snorkling, good local food, sandy beaches, beautiful water, stuff like that.

We did St. John. Snorkeling, hiking, fishing, island hopping with boat, and plenty of drinking.

Went to Grenada last summer. Great time but we Didnt want to do all the active stuff, really enjoyed just sitting on the beach.
Very safe for tourists, but still kind of 3rd world experience.

also to note.....scubaing doesn't have to be spectacular as we are just starting in it, mainly just want nice scenery, waterfalls, day hikes, tropical rain forest, and maybe a tad bit of nightlife/small towns to visit

You pretty much just described St Lucia.
