Do we REALLY need another good defensive 3 that can't shoot?

Does Dell just hate having SFs that can score on the roster?

Dell and Monty have literally never had a SF on the roster since they've been here that could shoot (other than Peja for a week)

I'm not sure I get it, to be honest.

Hell atleast Porter and Shabust can score consistently. Neither can shoot lights out but at least they're decent.

Dell and Monty, please draft some offense. Please dear jesus make watching Hornets games more tolerable for me. Please.

As much as I really, really, really hate to agree with you...

Yeah, Oladipo does nothing for me at all. I do not want him.

Also, he's definitely a SG that can play some spot up SF, but definitely a 2 I think.

Near the end of the year Monty specifically singled out Vasquez and Aminu for not providing spacing so I think they are aware of the problem.

I like the tony allen comparisons, but i think he has more coordinated athleticism. His ceiling may be a little higher

dipo's national rankings

field goals 61%. 4th
overall combined shooting efficiency 3rd
steals 15th
that has to make him the most efficient player of the year right?! can or would you replace ego with dipo in some type of deal. not including our 5th/6th pick.

Am I the only one who thinks he'll measure out at 6'3?

I do not want Oladipo, especially if Burke is on the board.

Burke's strengths translate to the NBA. He's the perfect pick and roll point guard that has great percentages shooting off the dribble as well as off the pass.

He and Davis running the pick and roll would be deadly. Especially with Ryan Anderson posted up outside the arc.

People praise Oladipo's improvement and forget the jumps Burke made:

quote:

Burke made a substantial statistical jump in many key areas this season, improving his scoring (+21%), assist (+40%) and steal (+75%) rates, upping his 2-point (+1%), 3-point (+3.5%), and free throw percentages (6.1%), while cutting down on his turnover rate (-35%) and nearly doubling his assist to turnover ratio.

Last years draft is a good example of great defending SG/SF vs great scoring PG.

Would you rather have Damien Lillard or Michael Kidd-Gilchrest????
