Are you really that disrespectful in real life? Does someone really have the balls to say that?
But no that's not me and God bless whoever that person is. I might be considered a special needs patient after all of the brain trauma I have received reading these posts.

So we still got solid prospects though. Anthony Bennett has carmelo size and i can see him developing a similar inside game.. Kid is quick off first step and real explosive.. Could be shot of testosterone this team needs... Would open up driving lanes some... Dipo if we trade gordo's sorry as... Still got burke on board too... We'll get a solid starter and who knows this might be what we need to land the final piece in 2014... I see his ceiling as a more explosive melo minus outside scoring meets poor man's. Charles barkley

I'm not a Marcus Smart fan. The only guard that I remember shooting as bad in college that had a successful transition into the NBA was Rajon Rondo.
Maybe I caught Smart on bad nights, but the games I saw him play (tournement and Kansas come to mind) he was like 2-18.

My new rules.
1) NBA abolishes the current age requirement. Anyone 18 or over can come on down if a team will have them.
2) If a kid signs to a scholarship, however, he can't go to the NBA for at least two years (or three . . . but that's pushing it).
Those two rules, alone, would improve both the college game and the NBA.
Thank you for your time.
I've said for years that they should use the MLB rules. All High School players are eligible for the draft. If they aren't drafted or choose not to go pro, they aren't eligible for another three years. It would improve college basketball and the development of college basketball players.
As for Smart, he's making a mistake by coming back if the NBA and money are a goal for him. He won't be drafted as high next year.
As for college development vs. d-league development, I've always heard that d-league development is miles better than staying in college for development. SFP can tell you more though. He's a big proponent of d-league over college.

Im not much a fan of Smart either
Him going back hurts the chances of a guy like Porter dropping to the Pels, or a team at 3/4 taking Burke because they wanted a PG... Do I think Burke is worth being picked that high? No, but I can see a team reach, trying to catch lightning in a bottle like Portland did with Lillard.
Ive never been to a chalk talk with Dell though, so Im not to be taken seriously

This makes too much sense to ever happen.
I would add that the NBA should, and appears to be, beefing up the D League. If it becomes a viable minor league, properly funded by the teams, its a great solution for guys who don't or can't fit at college. They can make a living playing ball and this means less fake test scores and the sham of attending classes.

Michael McNamara ?@McNamara247 8h I want blocks removed from stats as they currently are. Only count them if the defensive team retains possession after the block
Like The Swimmer ?@phelpsalot 8h @McNamara247 otherwise, you just knocked the ball out of bounds.
Michael McNamara ?@McNamara247 8h @phelpsalot Right - and that is same as a deflection, which nobody tracks. Blocks is outdated in its current form
Like The Swimmer ?@phelpsalot 8h @McNamara247 agreed. This was one of Davis' top features coming out. Ability to block AD maintain possession for his team.

I don't know about that, but he was posting under a different name a few weeks ago but I didn't out him because the last thing this board needs is a Rex.
