Outside of the big 3, which Tackle would you want first?

Assuming at 15 Fisher, Joeckel, and Johnson are all off the board, and you are told the Saints will 100% draft a tackle within the first 5 rounds, who do you want them to take the most? (It could be at 15, the result of a tradeback in the first, a 2nd if there's a tradeback, 3rd/ 4th, 5th whenever.) If drafted they would compete for LT, so most of them would be making transitions.
Who do you want, and why? What do you think makes them best suited to switch to/ play LT and be successful?
Some Options:
Fluker RT- Bama
Watson RT- FSU
Kyle Long G/LT - Oregon
Terron Armstead LT -Arkansas Pinebluff
Justin Pugh LT- Syracuse
David Bakhtiari LT- Colorado
Jordan Mills RT- La Tech
Chris Faulk LT- LSU
There are others obviously, that's just some of the names talked about. They all have their perks and faults. Fluker was a great run blocker at Bama, and had his moments in the passing game (shut down Mingo). But, he is much more of a natural RT, not sure he could make the transition. I think Watson may have the biggest ceiling but is more of a project. If we went someone later 1st or 2nd, I'd be okay with him. His history as a basketball player makes me comfortable with the transition because his lateral footwork should be fairly good, though he lacks the long term football background. Feel like I haven't seen too many people talk about us taking him.
Later rounds, I'm open to any, just not sure when the value would be best.

Not Pugh, I think he's better suited to be a guard. I predict he will be moved to guard in the NFL.

Yeah. He's a little too light, lacks height, but short arms most of all. He's gotta add weight and strength regardless, but the guard/center transition for him seems to be the consensus.

I don't want Fluker. I think he'll end up being a guard in the NFL.

Armstead, Mills, Faulk in that order. I think we land one with our 3rd round pick.

there's a substantial chasm from the top big 3 to the next LT candidates. I've Xed off any of the RT types cuz we have a ton of them.
I actually think there are quite a few guys that could be around at #75 that could compete for the starting LT spot. Not necessarily available at #75 but my LT wish list after the big 3 might go sumpin like this-
Terron Armstead
Kyle Long
Menelik Watson
Reid Fragel
Chris Faulk
Brennan Williams
Jordan Mills
Xavier Nixon
David Quessenberry
The top 3 I would be surprised but not shocked if they lasted to #75. After that they all are viable candidates.

Why do you have Watson so low? Is it because he played RT and the other 2 had LT experience? Or just in general that's how your list would go?
I'm just curious because I feel like he may be the only first round prospect that hasn't been discussed in detail on this board.

We are doing BP on board with 15 or trade down for picks...
We always do. That's why we filled our needs already in FA.

Ohio st guy is intriguing

Faulk was looking at a late first round or high second round pic before injury.
I think he would present great value in the 3rd round.

Fragel from Ohio State in the later rounds

Armstead looks like 100% prototypical Loomis/Payton pick

Seems like a pretty deep year for OTs. Although it's kind of scary now having that hole on your roster, I think we'll be fine come week 1.

my handle and judgement on them gets looser the later the rounds get
Watson just strikes me as more of project/potential than some of the others. I think he's prolly being pimped on draft sites more than on NFL boards. Kinda like the Mingo-Jones debate... Mingo might have a higher ceiling but Jones has a lot more film of proven production.

Reid Fragel
This guy. He's a freakish athlete with great size. He's still raw from switching from TE but he has a ton of potential.

Chris Faulk
This guy too. First round talent that can be stolen later in the draft.

James Carpenter 2.0 and one of the most overrated players in this draft

Watson from Florida State is the next best tackle but he will also most likely be gone in the first. If the Saints were to trade down and pick up a second I would put Watson at the top of their board in the first.
