At the same time, they didn't have to offer a more suitable ending to gamers. That's their creative liberty.
They don't owe anyone anything. Either buy the product or don't. But just because people don't like the product doesn't make them the worst company in America. It's just video games...

An entire generation of kids who grew up on EA games have become adults with their own money
Watching ea destroy all of our favorite intellectual properties (ips) is the root of all the rage.
If it were just mass effect thatd be one thing. But it's every single popular title they own, now.
We don't want to hate ea, we want ea to go back to the old ea we once loved. We want to give them our money and enjoy their games. But they are making it difficult.

I understand that, but how can a company whose product is so trivial at the end of the day be the worst company? It's like despising record companies for pushing out albums that sound similar. It's entertainment. You want a shitty company? Pick one in the medical or legal field...

Its an online poll, and of course an online poll is going to be skewed by those who frequent the online world.
That being said, calling EA the worst "trivial" company is pretty accurate IMO, but its the fault of the people who keep lapping up shitty IP.

Mass Effect was shite as a franchise. Honestly, Star Trek: New Worlds was a better game.
And that game, my friends, was a stinking pile of dogshit. How many of you old dogs remember that one?
Battlefield 4 is going to manage to be worse than Battlefield 3, which was broken as shite. Only an occasional gamer? Better stay the frick out of a helicopter. Our shite-for-brains reward system encourages people to sit in mom's basement all goddamn day and play Xbox.
COD: Modern Warfare 3 will be a better game. Guaran-fricking-tee it.
Let's remember a time when games were good. A time before Electronic Arts.
Duke Nukem. Doom. Wolfenstein 3D. Quake. fricking Zork. Those were fricking games. You fricking kids don't know shite about games.

Only most of the games they put out are good and get highly rated reviews. Not saying they haven't put out disappointing games or that they couldn't do better, but people are still buying them.

This is the dumbest complaint about the ending. The decisions you make in the first two games definitely effect how the third game plays. Just because the ending boils down to a couple of choices doesn't mean the rest of the game discarded those choices. Regardless, as bad as the ending is/was, it doesn't mean the rest of the game sucked. Because it didn't.

It couldn't have affected it that much. I lost my save file before I started 3 and it asked me a whole 2 questions in order to form my entire story.
