Outside of FIFA I will never purchase any EA products ever no matter what platform, prior to this I only played Mass Effect anyway, , but I think I might just buy BF4 just to show my support to a good game.

THAT WILL SHOW THEM!!
I bet right now an EA exec is in his office trembling because McRebel42 will only buy BF4 and FIFA from here on out.

How about not buying their products instead of voting in a poll that is usually forgotten until the next one rolls around. Oh that's right because voting in a poll is about as far as most people will go with the "hate". Apathy reigns.

Well, I'm not going to stop buying games I will enjoy because of what developer's name is stamped on it. Unless you get masses of people to do the same, it won't make a bit of difference to EA. Something like this is a way to still try to relay a message to EA without ignoring games you want to play with the hopes that it will get them to at least try to change something for the better.

I am no EA knight but it's funny to watch people complain then turn right around and still give EA money.
"I won't buy their products I am so angry. Well except for maybe FIFA, BF4, and whatever else catches my eye but THAT"S IT!!!!!"

They are sitting in their office counting their dividends and lol'ing about this. Unless it starts hurting their bottom line which in turn hurts their stock holders which puts pressure on EA they DGAF.

Bunch of gaming hipsters on this board. Disliking EA is too mainstream for them.
Posted on 4/9/13 at 3:47 pm to stout
This. The masses gobble up the shite and thank them for it.

I think most people understand this. The point still stands that voting them as the worst company in America will at least do more than buying their games and saying nothing. It more than likely won't amount to anything but it's worth a try.

I call it rational thinking.

It didn't do anything a year ago.
It's a PR problem but it will be forgotten about in a week maybe sooner if Kim Jong Un has anything to say about it.
Americans have short attention spans when it comes to shite like this so if their PR firm can control it for the next week or so it will go back to business as usual.
They might even throw out some free shite soon to distract from this. Like giving a crying kid a bottle or giving a window licker something shiny to stare at.

The hate for EA from some people who do nothing to support the vitriol is so weird. It's pointless and impotent rage but I guess people will find anything to rage about.
Posted on 4/9/13 at 3:55 pm to sbr2
I guess I don't get the rage. I haven't bought Madden or Tiger Woods or NCAA Football in years. I really am only faithful to Battlefield and I'd even give a next MoH a good look. Point is: I don't have to buy.
Posted on 4/9/13 at 3:56 pm to sbr2
I sort of understand. I was disappointed with Sim City because I love Sim games and Sim City was my first. I haven't bought the new one yet but I am not so mad about it that I will spend my whole time hating EA or boycott other games of theirs I like.
It's a free market and if EA really is so terrible they won't survive forever but the fact is people still gobble up what they put out and will continue to do so.

I wish they would make another Bad Company. Was thinking about this today watching some BF4 footage.
