Multi-day Rafting Trips

I'm thinking about doing a multi-day rafting trip this summer with a small group 4-5 people this summer. I'm curious if anyone that has done this before has a good recommendation for location and who to use as a guide?

Where are you wanting to go? There are some trips here but I live in South Carolina. I know a Saluda river trout guide.

Thinking about heading West, forgot to include that. Did a West Virgina trip a few years ago, and haven't been to the Rockies before.

If you want to go straight to the Super Bowl of multi day rafting trips, do the Tatshenshini-Alsek Rivers in Canada and Alaska. It's about 10 days and through the most beautiful country you will find.
Nat Geo has it ranked number one in the world.

I've done it twice and it goes through the worlds largest heritage park encompassing parts of Kluane and Alsek-Tatshensini in Canada, and Glacier Bay and Wrangell St. Elias in Alaska.

I'm sorry, I didin't post the area, he is a guide for the Saluda river in Columbia. I have a buddy in the upstate near the mountains that owns a landscape supply company and he has a client that is a guide on the mountain rivers there and he is getting some info for me now. I'll send it to you when I get it if you like.

I've done Westwater Canyon of the Colorado River in Utah, right past the border of Colorado. The canyon itself can be done in a day or as an overnight but you can make it longer by putting in earlier or taking out later near Moab- there's also some cool multi-day trips on the Colorado near Moab. It's kind of like a mini-Grand Canyon visually with some really fun rapids. The difficult part might be finding an outfitter and/or getting the permit, especially in the middle of the summer.

Green River in Utah, you can do 2-5 day trips. Some of the deepest canyons in the West. There are numerous rapids along this river.

I'm leaving for Costa Rica on Friday and doing an overnight trip on the Pacuare River Saturaday and Sunday. Also doing a one day trip on the Naranjo river later on in the week. 
If you interested in Idaho, I would also look into Hells Canyon.

I enjoyed our trip with Southeastern Expeditions it was a 2 day raft trip on the Chattooga. Some really fun rapids on that run.
And the guides are a lot of fun. there's time to stop and swim and jump off of big rocks and what not.
