Learning to clear jams and reloading us part of learning the weapon,

That's better but you need to target somebody specific and call them an idiot for their choice that does not exactly match yours

not that I really care that much, but why do you hate Glocks so much?

Glock was first gun i bought. I love it, but i probably wouldn't buy another one cause i think they're pretty much all the same and i'd like variety to my limited stock. I can appreciate guns of all kinds. A good brand fight is fun though..

I agree... I'm obviously a Glock homer, but I also own 2 Sigs, a 1911, and have a strong want for an M&P.

It's a beretta 90 two so it has the full polymer grip. The grip from the factory was large and there was no medium sized so I bought the small. Then it ended up being too small so I put a packmyr (sp?) grip sleeve on it. Now it's just about perfect.
And for the OP, you will get a ton of opinions thrown at you here. While everyone may think their gun is the best, it's up to the individual to come to that conclusion. That's why I suggest you watch my video and limit your search a little bit. What may work for Jose may not work for Hose B.

I bought my first one back in January. Ruger SR9c I got the c so that I can carry later when I'm better suited to do so. I would highly recommend the gun. My wife, who'd never shot anything other than a BB gun was able to put 10-12 of the 17 rounds through a paper plate size spread on her first magazine (the SR9c comes with one 10 round and one 17 round mag) and that to me was a great evaluation of the "out of the box" accuracy, ease of use of the gun. Of course I showed her how to operate the mechanics of the weapon before going to the range.
the SR9 is also a :bapple: reviewed and approved weapon

The only thing about the SR guns I don't like is the sights. But that can easily be changed and most people feel they're just fine. The tops of the sights are rounded and the rear dots are very small. This makes it hard to get your elevation just right. But besides that, the gun has an amazing trigger out of the box and it has a very soft recoil impulse. I had a new shooter (a 4'11" girl) try it recently and she handled it just fine.
I ordered some fiber optic Novak sights and will report back after installing them.

Mrs. Midnight refuses to part with her wheel gun. I have a G23 and Sig P245, but Mrs. Midnight has the "good" handgun.

you said 96 in video multiple times.

The original gun is a 9mm 90 two. I purchased an additional 96 INOX Vertec upper for it. It is a 40 cal 96, but the original upper is a 90 two in 9mm.

I'm surprised anyone wants a 92 with all the hate they get on this board.
But it's my first handgun ever and would have way too much grief to part with it.
