AFLAC has some policies that will pay short-term disability for maternity leave, provided that you've held the policy for a certain period of time prior to filing a claim.

As for the unemployment insurance, that seems like an abuse of the system. It's there for people who get laid off through no fault of their own, not for people who decided to have a kid.
